About the Application SpeedGuard Nairobi is a road-safety awareness tool. It does not encourage speeding and must never be used to evade lawful enforcement.

Location Data & Privacy (Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019) 3.1 No Storage: GPS data is processed on-device in real time only, never stored persistently. 3.2 No Transmission: Location is never sent to our servers or third parties. 3.3 No Profiling: We do not build movement profiles or route histories. 3.4 Lawful Basis: Location access is based on your explicit consent via "Start Trip." Withdraw by ending the trip or revoking permission in Settings. 3.5 Data Minimisation: Only current speed and position are accessed, only while tracking is active. 3.6 Speed Gun Reports: When you voluntarily submit a speed gun report, you consent to sharing the GPS coordinates and description via email for verification. No other personal data is attached. Deletion requests: speed@accadius.co.ke.

Your Rights Under the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019 You have the right to: (a) Be informed — this document constitutes that notice; (b) Access any personal data we hold — email speed@accadius.co.ke; (c) Correct inaccurate data; (d) Delete your data — we hold no persistent location data; (e) Object to processing — withdraw consent by stopping the app; (f) Lodge a complaint with the ODPC at www.odpc.go.ke.

Disclaimer of Liability SpeedGuard is provided "AS IS." Camera locations are community-sourced and may be inaccurate. You must always drive within legally posted speed limits regardless of any alert from this app. SpeedGuard / Accadius shall not be liable for any fine, penalty, incident, injury, or loss from use of this application.

Governing Law These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Disputes are subject to Kenyan courts. Applicable laws: Kenya Data Protection Act 2019, Traffic Act (Cap. 403), NTSA Act 2012, Consumer Protection Act 2012.
